OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

Find the volume of each sphere. Give each answer in terms of pi and rounded to the nearest cubic unit.

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

OpenStudy (raden):

Volume = 4/3 * pi * r^3 r = radius

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

i have gotten \[V=\frac{ 4 }{ 3 }\pi (7.5)^3\]

OpenStudy (raden):

that's right. then simplify it

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

\[V=\frac{ 4 }{ 3} \pi(421.87)\]

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

thats where i got lost

OpenStudy (raden):

well, 7.5^3 = 421.875 then times 4, get 421.875 * 4 = 1687.5 then divided by 3, get 1687.5/3 = 562.5 so, volume = 562.5 pi

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

ty @RadEn for explaining

OpenStudy (raden):

you're welcome :)
