or anyone The surface area of a triangular pyramid is 408 m2. If all the faces of the pyramid are congruent, what is the area of one face of this pyramid? A. 51 m2 B. 68 m2 C. 102 m2 D. 136 m2

OpenStudy (disco619):

When all sides of a Pyramid are different then... [Base Area] + 1/2 × Perimeter × [Slant Length]

i think it is C am i right?

OpenStudy (disco619):

Even I don't know yet, im figuring it out. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is C

OpenStudy (disco619):

I'll let @ranga do it! :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks for trying

OpenStudy (ranga):

A triangular pyramid has 4 triangular surfaces. They are all congruent here and they add up to 408. So what is the surface area of 1 triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A pyramid has 4 sides. As such, If the surface area of the entire pyramid is 408 m^2 then the area of a single face will be 408meters/4sides = 102 m^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so C is right?

OpenStudy (ranga):

Yes. C) 102 m^2
