Art History 17 Online

Anyone have AP Art History and want to go over some information?

OpenStudy (wach):

I took this last year and did well, would love to help if I can :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you study for it? I'm taking it online so it is harder.

OpenStudy (wach):

Go through each period/style of European art in-depth, and be familiar with specific types of non-European art. You should know (from each style/period) prominent artists and the pieces they executed, what techniques are used in those pieces and in that period, historical connotations, and relationship with other pieces. You should be able to compare and contrast

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol that is really helpful. What I was asking was did you find any books, videos, or websites that were really helpful?

OpenStudy (wach):

I mostly self-studied, going through a huge list of artists and important pieces, but I also used Gardener's Art History textbook which is really important

OpenStudy (wach):

That's really all you need imo

OpenStudy (wach):

But hey, if you need any help I'm here. Looove art history.

Next weekend I'm buying Gardener's Art History. I'm not all the way through with all of my lessons yet, but once I am, I plan on going back, reviewing with Gardener's Art History, buying an AP Prep book for Art History.
