GCF factor 5k2-35k3

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Whtat does 5k2 mean? 5002 - 3503 ...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's 5 the letter k and k is squared

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry

OpenStudy (nirmalnema):

u can see that k^2 and 5 is common in both...

OpenStudy (nurali):

5 and 35 have the GCF 5 k^2 and k^3 have the GCF k^2 so overall, the GCF of 5k^2 and 35k^3 is 5k^2 factor out the GCF 5k^2 to get 5k^2 - 35k^3 5k^2*1 - 5k^2*7k 5k^2(1 - 7k)

OpenStudy (nirmalnema):

so u can take it out.... i.e. 5k^2(1-7k)
