Find the x-intercept and the y-intercept for the graph of the equation. x+5y=0 a. 0; 0 c. 1; 0 b. 0; –1 d. –1; 1

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

For the x intercept, make y=0 For the y intercept, make x=0

I don't have a graph

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

You dont need a graph. Just make the correct variable equal 0 as I said before. For the x intercept make y=0 in the equation. so x+5(0)=0. x=0 For y intercept make x=0 in the equation. so 0+5y=0. 5y=0. y=0
