The expression 6x² - 3x - 4 has ___ terms and a constant of ____. 3, 6 3, -4 6, 6 6, -4 Is the answer D ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doesn't look like it has six terms to me

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

a constant is just a coefficient with no variable....as far as the number of terms, x^2 and x and a coefficient are all different terms...so count them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So - 4 is my constant right?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be answer B correct?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

correct
