help!?!? Use the image below to answer the following question. Find the value of sin x° and cos y°. What relationship do the ratios of sin x° and cos y° share?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\[\sqrt{3^3+4^4}=hypotenuse = 5\]

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

cos=adj/hyp sin=opp/hyp the opposite side of angle x is 3 and the adjacent side of angle y is also 3, (the hypotenuse is the same for both )

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

So cos y= sin x

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

See how I did it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thanks for the help !

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

YW!

OpenStudy (shamil98):

You can also just remember that this is a 3-4-5 triangle.

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Just like 6-8-10 , 12-16-20 and so on.
