\[\sqrt{3^3+4^4}=hypotenuse = 5\]
cos=adj/hyp sin=opp/hyp the opposite side of angle x is 3 and the adjacent side of angle y is also 3, (the hypotenuse is the same for both )
So cos y= sin x

You can also just remember that this is a 3-4-5 triangle.
Just like 6-8-10 , 12-16-20 and so on.
