As being an ambassador of Open Study, I eagerly want to ask you'll OS users,
'How was your experience on Open Study, this year, in 2013?'

It has been only 20 days I have studied on openstudy. Some users help others. Some users just don't care even if you ask them by tagging in the questions. But, it's ok. Now If I have any questions, I put them here.

As for me, I had a sad time. I joined as trollswillrule and a moderator banned me just because he cannot solve my question and says that my question have no solution and I kept bumping it after each buffer time as no answer was given.

I haven't been online as much this year, but I've finally started using this site to get help rather than just help others, so that's a nice change for me. Happy holidays!

I feel very good when I successfully help people solving their Math problems :) I especially thank you @Vincent-Lyon.Fr for answering my French questions with very much patience. OpenStudy is an extremely good idea indeed. Sometimes, my teaching method is not so good, and they would not understand. However, there is always someone out there who can help them, so I do not need to worry :D In conclusion, OpenStudy is wonderful :D

In the past I've seen people either give answers or do the question in a well worked out and explained way, which ultimately gives away the answer.

But this year I've noticed a lot of people actually spending time with people to help them understand the concept and putting more pressure on the question-asker to do some of the work by a little probing and poking. I like this trend and I hope it continues!

I wasn't on here much this year, but I have to say, I had a good time. Mostly I only came on when I needed to double check some answers. Other than that this is the best site that I have ever been to. :)

i'd say that it was moderately good... only 50% of my questions were answered and helping others was fun....so still tending to good

The good help that you can get here, and the joy of helping others out far outweighs the frustration of immature and overly opinionated trolls that are unfortunately part of life.

My year was great here. Yes Im failing most of my classes b/c of this site but who cares! I made awesome friends and I even got a bf b/c of this site so thx guys ^-^

this year OS has seen many excellent helpers, if i were to mention some i know, Solomon, kennylau, shrutipande, and many more....
OS and I are grateful for their tremendous contributions.

if i were to compare it with last year, it has become lil bit difficult to increase the SS, people have become somewhat reluctant in giving medals/testimonials and all.

OS have gone through quite a different set of problems this year but i am so glad it came out victoriously, thanks to so much talented admins! :)

it was this year i became a moderator, and enjoyed it very much :) my experience was nothing less than \(\color{red}{Awesome! }\)

Open study has helped me so much with homework. I have gotten help with answers with someone explaining it to me so that i could understand it.
