http://www.tokresource.org/tok_classes/biobiobio/biomenu/transcription_translation/transcription_2.jpg this will bring you to a picture that explains some stuff, im still looking for an exact answer but see if this helps you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks<3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure thing :)

OpenStudy (blues):

The reason we provide explanations rather than answers is so the students who ask here can critically evaluate our responses - i.e., they can make their own decisions as per whether our responses are actually correct...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@blues what do you think that picture was? are you in high schoo; @blues

OpenStudy (blues):

I'm looking at the part of your response in which you said the answer was C. And whatever relevance it has to the question, I am not in high school.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i thought so, are you aware of how hard this schooling is? most of us are doing the same schooling, or some thats pretty much the same, and most of us are behind. Im in this possition too, and i know how much it sucks. im just trying to help them. @blues

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if people really wanted the answers google works too. just saying

OpenStudy (blues):

I am well aware of how difficult high school is. And I am also well aware of how much harder college is if people get into it poorly qualified (i.e., having focused on passing exams rather than learning the material in high school) which is, ethics aside, a compelling reason why providing answers, particularly when they happen to be wrong, is not helpful.

OpenStudy (blues):

And as you note, OpenStudy is a tutoring website. We are very picky about that. Online answer exchange platforms abound.

OpenStudy (blues):

But the same quality control issues apply. People who give answers without explanations give the student no way to evaluate the quality of their work. Whereas a website like OpenStudy, which requires tutors to provide scientific support and rationale for each answer, gives them a much better shot of getting it right in the end.

k thx
