!!! One Medal Question !!!
For the first question: The real woman behind the name "Soujourner Truth" was Isabella Baumfree. In 1843, she gave herself the nickname of "Soujourner Truth". On June 1, 1843, Truth changed her name to Sojourner Truth and told her friends: "The Spirit calls me, and I must go." She became a Methodist, and left to make her way traveling and preaching about the abolition of slavery.
Second question: The Northern strategy was thus, like all proper strategies, dictated in large part by the terrain. Plans were made immediately for three amphibious operations, two combined land-sea operations, directed at vulnerable points on the North.... Chacha.com
It brought the North and South together for the most part. It was no longer to seperate sub-nations so to speak, but rather a full nation. Slavery was also abolished which I'm sure you know. African Americans were (and arguably are) still treated differently. African Americans gained citizenship.
Yeah. :)
