OpenStudy (awesome781):

How do you find a quadratic equation with given roots?

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

You just reverse the process of solving quadratic equations :)

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

If (x-a)(x-b)=0 gives you a and b as roots, you can just do the reverse

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

That means if a and b are roots, (x-a)(x-b)=0

OpenStudy (dan815):

C(x-a)(x-b)=0, where C is any constant not equal to 0
