OpenStudy (kainui):

Why do so many people post "help" without actually asking a question of any substance? What can we do to fix this annoying, chronic nonsense?

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Minimum length of post

at least 50 characters

I would like to disagree. I am a user who posts "HELP" questions frequently. First of all, you cannot see the entire question posted there, only the first half. It makes much more sense to post the entire question in comments. Second, and even more important, you cannot post questions that require the "equation", "draw", or "attach file" buttons in the original question. Therefore, I believe that "HELP" questions should be allowed. I would be VERY disappointed if this were to be taken away.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause their questions r long and can't fit in the box ;)

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

It would help to identify what subject it is.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Or topic I mean.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

I have to agree with @Luigi0210 at least post the topic. So people that may actually be able to help you will click in. Not people who do not have a clue and soon as they see they can't help they leave. Then you are stuck wondering why are so many people leaving? Well, it is not their fault.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Yes, I do post "HELP with absolute value" or whatever the topic is :)

A question needs a title. I never answer those 'Help' questions.
