ABCD is a parallelogram. E is the mid point of AB. Diagonal BD intersect EC at O. if area of EOB is 80cm2 , then find OE:OC

OE : EC = 1:2 because
EB = 1/2 AB .... midpoint
therefore
EB = 1/2 DC ....opposite sides of a parallelogram
therefore,
EB : DC = 1:2
and hence,
OE : EC = 1 : 2 ...... corresponding sides of similar triangles
