Which correctly describes how the graph of the inequality -4y - x ≥ 7 is shaded? Above the solid line Below the solid line Above the dashed line Below the dashed line

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

-4y - x >= 7 put it in y = mx + b form -4y >= x + 7 -- divide by -4 and change the sign y <= -1/4x - 7/4 since the y is LESS THEN , shading goes below the line and since the line has an = sign, then it is a solid line.
