The image below shows two dilated figures with lines IJ and KL drawn. If the larger figure is dilated using a scale factor of 2, what relationship do lines IJ and KL have? Would this relationship hold true for all dilations?

You can see that they are parallel

and yes it would hold true for all dilations if you dilate it by another factor you'll get another parallel line
