First give equal importance to both school and entrance preparation. Allot a specific time for your study and stick with it. Cracking IIT JEE is easy if you have the following:

1.Thorough CONCEPTS in all 3 subjects.
2.PRACTISE
3.Consistent HARD WORK.
4.CONFIDENCE

Refer to a few books rather than making a library of books from various others.
