Uniform distribution is fairly simple, it means that every event has the same probability to happen

We need x to be within 0 and 2 or 15 to 20 out of 0to 20.

0 to 2 is 10% of the line segment
15 to 20 is 25%
As the 2 events have nothing in common you can simply add to get 35% or P=0.35
