A restaurant sold 24 fish dinners and 32 shrimp dinners one night. What was the ratio of fish dinners to shrimp dinners? A 2:3 B 4:3 C 3:5 D 3:4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same principal as i said in your other one. ratio is just a fraction. so make those two numbers as a fraction and simplify it

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the ratio of Fish to Shrimp 24 : 32 so you need to now simplify the ratios by finding dividing by the highest common factor... if thats difficult... halve both numbers... keep going until you can't go any further

D
