when might you use conditional formatting in your financial planning worksheet

This sounds like it may have been typed word-for-word as part of a larger set of problems. Please correct me if I'm wrong. By that, I mean *what* financial planning worksheet? Is this something you have that the question they want you to answer is referring to? Or is "financial planning worksheet" a phrase that is widely used to describe something specific? That said, conditional statements are used to describe what to do in different situations. "If this happens, then do this. Otherwise, do this." When you are doing financial planning, when do you have to take into account different situations to decide what you have to do?
