i have a oatmeal cookie recipe that asks for 3 cups of oatmeal and 1 cup margerine and 2 cups flour so what changes do i make with only 2 cups of oats?

With 2 cups of oats>> you need to take 2/3 cup of margarine and 1 & 1/3 cup of flour

Since you have only 2 cups of oats, which is 2/3 the amount of oats in the recipe, use 2/3 of the amounts of the other ingredients too.
