What is the solution of the equation? can you show me how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3\sqrt[5]{(x+2)^3}+3=27\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

27-3=24, 24/3=8, (x+2)^(3/5)=8, x+2=8^(5/3), x+2=2^5, x+2=32, x=32-2, x=30. Answer: 30. Remember 2^3=8. 2^5=32.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i simplified to 1=sqrt(4x-1) then i'm not sure what to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x-1=1^2, 4x-1=1*1, 4x-1=1, 4x=1+1, 4x=2, x=2/4, simplify, x=1/2. Answer: 1/2.
