OpenStudy (bibby):

Squares have equal sides. So all 4 sides are 6.25 feet. How do you get the area of a square?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a= l x w

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would you just multiply 6.25 x 6.25

@sleepyjess

OpenStudy (bibby):

yeah. as for significant digits, you'd have to use the one with the least significant figures. As they're both 6.25, you know the answer has 3 significant digits/figures 6.25*6.25=39.0625

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if you were to round it would it be 39.1 @bibby

OpenStudy (bibby):

I'm pretty sure but I haven't touched sigfigs in a while.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
