the sum of three consecutive integers is 21.What are they? Use the variable n for the value of the smallest integer A. n+1+n+2+3=21;5,6,7 B.n+n+1+n+2=21;6,7,8 C.n+n+2+n+4=21;5,7,9 D.n+n+1+n+2=21;8,9,10 PLEASE HELP

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Well, it can't be C because 5, 7, and 9 are not consecutive integers. It can't be A because 5+6+7 is 18 NOT 21 It can't be D because 8 + 9 + 10=27 Must be B. Let's check it out., Are 6, 7, and 8 consecutive integers? Does 6+7+8 = 21?
