I have to write an expository essay about dolphins. Ive been trying to find a good topic that I can fit into 5 paragraphs for days and I cant come up with anything. Anyone have any ideas?

So, I assume you mean things like their population decline and environmental reasons they are declining in population? There's also question of whether marine animals should be kept in captivity and many other various topics. :) Any of these spark your fancy?

How smart are dolphins? How long do they keep their young with them? How far from birthplace do they travel and how do we know that? What do they eat and is it in shorter supply? Some possible short topics.

@klakelyn, like I just said, the prompt is dolphins. Im not gonna write about something that has very little proof behind it and considered to be mythical. Not to mention, I dont feel like losing points.
