i don't understand the question ! sorry call another hero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol thanks for trying

OpenStudy (raden):

after dilatid by a scale factor of 3 B(12,13) ------> B' = (36,39) C(8,10) ------> C' = (24,30) so, the length of B'C' = d = sqrt( (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2 ) d = sqrt( (39-30)^2 + (36-24)^2 ) d = ... just simplfy that, get your answer ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Still confused how would I simplify it?

OpenStudy (raden):

whats 39-30 ? then square it whats 36-24 ? then square it add up both, then take the quareroot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright thanks

OpenStudy (raden):

welcome

Directrix (directrix):

>>No I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong 39-30 would be 9 the square root would be 3 then 36-24 is 12 and the square root is 3.46410161514 If I where to add them up and get the square it it wouldn't be 15. What did you do to get 15. ----------- @tillidie Continuing from work above: |dw:1388633804796:dw|
