A lot of the time people that abuse animals way be drug addicts or addicted to drinking. There is not any real reason, however some of these people may abuse  animals because they are innocent and cant fight back, so people take out their anger on them

RobertSn I think your claim about people who abuse drugs and alcohol are more likely to abuse animals is unfounded. Unless you have statistics to back up what you are saying and even then, I wouldn't make such statements.
