this is a ratio problem
you can set it up as a ratio of length-to-width or as a ratio of model-to-lifesize and you'll get the same answer either way!
here is one possible way to set it up:
\[\frac{ length.model }{ width.model } = \frac{ length.lifesize }{ width.lifesize }\]
