COMPARE AND CONTRAST BETWEEN SIR ISAAC NEWTON AND ALBERT EINSTEIN THEORIES

OpenStudy (lena772):

Which theories ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Newton's theories assumed time was observed to be the same wherever you are in the universe travelling at any speed. They are known as classical theories. Einstein however saw that time was not the same for all observers. You approach a blackhole, time appears to slow for an observing watching you through a telescope. Einstein saw that space and time were interwoven, he used this fact to better Newton's understanding of gravity.

@Lena772 Albert Einstein's & Isaac Newton's theory

OpenStudy (tanya123):

@Dan.Harrison where is the comparison ? ok, so can you give me 3 differences and 3 similarities in one sentence please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically, Einstein discovered the flaws in Newton's Theories. Newton laid the foundations, Einstein uncovered them and further extended the process. He discovered that the fabric of space time was connected, and as Newton had disbelieved, proved that nothing is faster than the speed of light. Therefore, it would take approximately eight minutes for the disappearance of the sun to finally take impact on Earth. After those eight minutes, planet Earth would spiral into the distant galaxy. I hope this helps. If you would like more help, just let me know. ^___^
