Three consecutive integers can be represented as x, x + 1, and x + 2, where x is the smallest of the 3. Now write the given info into an equation: x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 24 3x + 3 = 24 3x = 21 x = 7 Since x is the smallest of the integers, the integers are 7, 8, and 9.
