Someone help me plez Solve for x: 5 − (x + 5) > −2(x + 4) x > −8 x < −8 x > −18 x < −18 Solve for x: −3x + 3 < 6 x > −1 x < −1 x < −3 x > −3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember to treat the greater than sign like a equal sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ −3x + 3 < 6\] is the easier of the two subtract \(3\) to get \(-3x<3\) then divide by \(-3\) and change the inequality to finish with \[x>-1\]

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Remember, when you divide the inequality by a negative number, you have to change the signs :)
