how do you make a screenshot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Feature:Mathematics

hartnn (hartnn):

if you are in Windows OS, press the key 'PrtScr' in your keyboard. The open Paint and Paste it. i take my screenshots this way. If you want to upload it here, use the 'Attach File' tab given below.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK I'll try that

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

pressing PrintScreen button, next to F12 key on the keyboard, then go to Paint or any graphic app, Edit > Paste, then save as .gif or .jpeg or whatever else before posting, in Paint or whatever graphic app you'd use, you can always, crop it, remove data no relevant and circle or highlight anything as needed or add text and such

We are not in a computer class ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture of a problem.

hartnn (hartnn):

my PrintScreen button is not next to my F12 key :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Either that or if you prefer a program to upload and stuff, you can download a tool called "LightShot" which can be found http://app.prntscr.com/ that is optional though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then just share the link.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hehhe, well, that just means you will just need to move it next to F12 then =), use a small screwdriver or pin to take the key cap off =)

hartnn (hartnn):

^ seems legit will try that right away :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hartnn (hartnn):
