We can ignore the coefficient 3. The domain of cot(x) is All real numbers excluding nπ, where n i any whole number. For cot(2x) this becomes n(π/2) In other words. cot(2x) exists everywhere except for multiples of π/2, such as 0,π/2, π, 3 π/2 etc... The range for tan and cot is (-inf, inf)
