Find the coordinates of the center of the following circle. @Yttrium

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(x + 3)^{2} + (y - 6)^{2} = 24\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just need the formula I think lol

OpenStudy (yttrium):

If I am not mistaken, that form is called the general form. And if that is the case. Always remember this. \[(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2\] and the coordinates will become (h,k). Let's have some tries. :) @CrayolaCrayon_

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the coordinates are (-3,6) ?

OpenStudy (yttrium):

You got this. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it's correct? :o

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Yup. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh! Awesome! Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (yttrium):

No problem. :)
