It accesses and uses some part of the research communities' accumulated theories, knowledge, methods, and techniques, for a specific, often state-, business-, or client-driven purpose.' Applied research usually involves solving useful problems and real world protocols. Some examples that may be used for applied research are assist and cure a health disease, make better energy efficient things for the homes, and behavioral interventions for autistic children.
