Can anybody help me on speech and dabate? I will give a medal and become a fan :)
1. When giving a speech, the most important thing to remember about your body language is to (1 point) keep your arms at your side so that you will not distract anyone from your message. move your hands and body in a natural comfortable way . interlock your hands and fingers so that you won’t flail them around. interlock your hands and fingers so that you won’t flail them around. 2. When you are in front of an audience giving a speech, your posture should be (1 point) with your back straight, head looking down. laid-back. holding yourself high, but remaining fluid and natural. None of the above
lol.. m no expert.. but i can give it a shot.. what do you think about 1st answer?
move your hands and body in a comfortable natural way
i was thinking that too.. that seems to be a very obvious answer don't u think?
even the second one looks obvious.. !
2 i would say would be holding yourself high but remaining ing a fluid but natural way
bingo.. me too!
do you mind looking at some more?
i wouldn't mind.. but like i said.. i am not an expert on this.. taking my word for this is not really all that a great idea.. :P.. but yea shoot!
3. In the course of your speech, if you decide to read a brief item, letter or paragraph, the best way to do this in a natural and casual way is to (1 point) practice, rehearse, use a bigger font, then practice some more read the section as fast as you can. use a lower or higher pitched voice than your natural one. hold the paper high in the air and announce to everyone that you are about to read from the piece of paper. 4. In what way did Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. have an effective speaking style? (1 point) He had a tendency to shout, so everyone heard him. He spoke slowly and deliberately to make his point. He always read directly from his notes so that he never made a mistake. He had the amazing ability to perfectly mimic other people’s voices when telling a story.
ohww.. this is getting tougher you know
i would say 3 is the practice rehearse answer
i didn't actually get the meaning of the 3rd question :-/
I am having so much trouble too but thank you for your help anyways.
but i would think option 4 for it.. cause.. when u are about to read a piece wouldn't u first announce it?
Not unless you ere in front of an audience if you were by yourself i would think it would be the rehearse and practice thing
yea.. but its not mentioned whether or not u are in front of your audience right?
exactly it does not give enough information. ugh!
Mashy here is your medal since your the only one to help me
I will post the right answers hen i do the test
