OpenStudy (addonexus):

If point C is the midpoint of , what is the coordinate of point B? (-4,4) (-4,1) (-2,1) (-3,3)

OpenStudy (addonexus):

I tried to find a formula (which is all i need) however i can't find one.

OpenStudy (addonexus):

Midpoint of AB*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its simple.... let B=(x1,y1) A=(x2,y2) C=(x3,y3) then we know that by mid point formula {(x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2}=(x3,y3) then by substituting the points we get B=(x1,y1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Option D is correct option.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you get it.... @addonexus

OpenStudy (addonexus):

I want to work this out still, I appreciate your help.

OpenStudy (addonexus):

Yes I did

OpenStudy (addonexus):

It's all substitution, all i needed was a formula :D
