Sketch a cone, cylinder, and sphere, each with congruent radii and each with a volume of 36pi cubic centimeters. What are the dimensions of each figure? Use the volume formulas to show that their volumes are in fact equal.

Volume Formulas Cone V = 1/3pir^2h 36 = 1/3pir^2h....choose a radius and keep it for all 3 figures. Solve for h to get other diminsion of the cone. Cylinder V=pir^2h 36 = pir^2h....use the same radius as above; solve for h Sphere V = 4/3Pir^3 36 = 4/3pir^3....again use the same radius as above Sketch pictures using these dimensions
