I don't really know how this works, this is my first time using this website. I am taking a practice test right now, so I don't want the exact answer to this question, just help getting it step by step or maybe a similar equation worked out as an example. The number of cars (c) in a parking lot increases when the parking fee (f) decreases. Write the correct equation for the scenario and solve for the number of cars when the fee is $6. Fee | Cars ---------- 20 | 15 30 | 10

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

HINT: the two numbers are inversely proportional. notice how they always multiply up to 300. Got an idea?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would it look like c = 300/f; c = 50?

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

I would say so.

Awesome, thank you so much!

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

No problem. btw, closing the question allows you to ask another if you need more help. you can tag people by using the "@" symbol followed by their name.

Alright, good to know! Thank you
