The deductible part must be paid by you. That means you pay the $120 deductible. Now the amount left to pay is $2345 - $120 = $2225 The insurance pays 70% of $2225. That means the insurance pays 70% * $2225 = 0.70 * $2225 = $1557.50 The amount you pay is the difference between the total amount and the amount the insurance company pays. $2345 - $1557.50 = $787.50 You pay $787.50
