Triangle ABC is isosceles with AB=BC. If measure of angle A equals 30 degrees then find measure of angle B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All triangle angles add to 180 degrees. You know that A = 30 and the other two angles are equal. 180 - 30 = 150 The remaining two angles total 150 degrees and they are equal.

Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so measure of angle B is 150?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No...two angles will equal 150...and the angles equal each other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh so it would equal 75 degrees per angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

75 + 75 + 30 = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay! thanks a whole lot:)
