Is there any way to "search" this site. The reason I ask is that I have seen a few people ask the same question, and I know it has been answered, so if there is a search capability, you might be able to find the answer.
No, this site is not very advanced to be honest.
:-(
I know, I am sure in the future it will grow and have upgrades such as the one you suggested.
I don't know exactly how to do it, but you can use Google's advanced search options to search for questions on this site. Something about restricting the domain being searched.
there is no site search on OpenStudy itself, but you can search the site through google
for instance, if you are searching "polynomials", then type the following in polynomials site:openstudy.com
make sure that there are NO spaces between the "site:" and the actual website, or else google will just think "openstudy.com" is just another search term
In some cases you can search. If you copy the question and paste to the search bar, sometimes OpenStudy comes up...not often, but once in awhile.
Cool, thank @jim_thompson5910 I would think that a search would be a fairly easy thing to add to a site.
You're welcome. Search is actually fairly complicated, but google simplifies things by doing most of the work (without you having to worry about how it all works). I'm sure search will make it's way on to the site eventually in the future.
