Choose the ordered pair that is the solution to the system of equations. -5y + 4x = 8 -15y + 3x = -3 (3,4/5) (-3,-4) (-3,4/3) (3,0)

OpenStudy (awesome781):

Did u solve for y first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1388689983345:dw| 1.Divide Both sides by -5 \[y=\frac{ 4 }{ 5 } x +\frac{ 8 }{ 5 }\] 2. Plug y equation into the y of -15y+3x=-3 and then solve for x 3. Plug the number that x equals into the previous equation( see above equation) Then you should have your x and y values that equal one of your answers :) p.s. Hope this helped somewhat :)
