Please help!! MEDAL AND FAN! Alright, what's the difference between deductive reasoning and inductive reasoning?? In physics history when did these reasonings come in to play? What is one physicist who has use either one or both??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get deductive and inductive reasoning. And I know galeleo used inductive reasoning a lot. But I'm having trouble figuring out when those reasoning's came into play in history.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. So you do know the difference between deductive and inductive reasoning?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you there still?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Deductive reasoning starts from first principles. Induction builds up from facts, and in math, it determines (n+1)th case from 1st to nth case.
