If you save two pennies on January first, four on January second, six on the third, and continue this pattern for one year (not a leap year), what will be the value of your entire savings in dollars at the end of one year? Express your answer as a decimal without commas. I spent a lot of time on this problem and ended up with $1330.92, could someone please tell me if this is right? And if they could, also tell me how to solve it in an easier way? I spent a long time writing out every day of the year and then adding two to the previous number of pennies for every day.
