Since this is literally an equation of a circle, try plugging in values of x and then solve for y. Then plot a couple of points on a graph and see if you can "figure" it out that way by plotting several values of x and the y's they correspond to. Sure, this isn't the fastest way of doing it, but in doing so you might realize certain things in algebra are useful in trying to figure out what you want.
