OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the values of the variables x,y, and z in the parallelogram. The diagram is not drawn to scale.

OpenStudy (nikato):

so opposite angles of a parallelogram are congrunet. so what would z be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x is equal to 33 and z is 109 degrees use theorems of parallelogram.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i find Y?

OpenStudy (nikato):

angle z and (x+y) are supplementary so with that^ 109+(33+y)=180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any triangle adds up to 180 degrees, after finding z and x use it to find y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahhh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i forgot about that, thanks guys!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=58

OpenStudy (anonymous):

38*

OpenStudy (nikato):

yea, thats correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sweet!
