!!! One Medal Question !!!

OpenStudy (zale101):

DNA molecule is composed of a double helix strand, along with a sugar phosphate backbone, and includes the four nitrogenous bases (adenine, Cytosine, guanine, and thymine)

OpenStudy (zale101):

- Why is DNA replication said to be semi-conservative? After the DNA replication, the parent strand from the actual previous DNA will create a daughter strand. The daughter strand has new bases but the parent strand has the same bases as before.

OpenStudy (zale101):

- Describe transcription. DNA replication---->Transcription------>Translation Transcription is when the DNA receives a message from the RNA plymerase to copy a single mRNA strand

OpenStudy (zale101):

here;s the description in details http://biology.about.com/od/cellularprocesses/ss/Dna-Transcription.htm
