Describe an easy technique to judge whether the correct pronoun is being used as a compound subject in the example sentence below. Example sentence: Me and Frank thought it would be a good idea to review before the test.

I would say separate the sentence into 2 sentences with one of the pronouns each. Give it a try

Good idea. Once you do that, you will realize that "Me" is wrong. Should be "I," and in fact the sentence should start "Frank and I..."
