OpenStudy (theeric):

Okay... So, I think this question meant that the block goes from \(x=-5\) to \(x=5\). Are you comfortable with the idea of potential energy?

OpenStudy (theeric):

Well, knowing about potential energy will help! Potential energy describes the potential to do things, really. Like, the energy you can potentially get. And when you think about energy you should think about things like speed, temperature, light... But mostly just movement (kinetic energy) for this class! You will \(potentially\) get speed. You have the most potential energy.... when you have the most kinetic energy to gain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is A. of -5 cm

OpenStudy (theeric):

Are you certain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is nothing much to think about it...

OpenStudy (theeric):

Are you sure, @abbyisaprincess ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it shown that at potint x=0 the force is in neutral... and hence ther is no point like or option like x=+5 cm so.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@harishk is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank yu ... your highness....

OpenStudy (theeric):

I know, you are both correct.

OpenStudy (theeric):

Haha! :)
