integrate cos (sqrt x) dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits_{}^{} \cos \sqrt{x} dx\]

OpenStudy (lasttccasey):

I got:\[2(\sqrt{x}\sin(\sqrt{x})+\cos(\sqrt{x}))\]Do you need an explanation or were you just checking an answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ca you explain? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let u = sqrt(x) x = u^2 dx = 2u du cos(u) * 2u du now just use integration by parts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i already get it. thanks. :D
